Dr. Robert Laurine, Jr. (Bobby)

Dr. Robert Laurine, Jr. (Bobby) is an educator, engineer, executive coach, and mentor dedicated to helping professionals and students achieve success in academics, college, and their careers. Through decades of leadership in higher education, the federal government, technology, engineering, and workforce development, he brings real-world experience and personalized guidance to students and professionals at every stage of their journey.

Bobby provides tutoring in Algebra I & II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Engineering, and Computer Science, helping students strengthen their understanding, improve performance, and build confidence in STEM subjects. He also offers college admissions advising, academic mentoring during college, and career planning to help students identify opportunities and achieve their long-term goals. In addition, Bobby works with executives to develop leadership models and coaching techniques to optimize organizations.

Currently Bobby serves as President of R.K. Executive Consulting. In addition, he is a Adjunct Professor of Engineering Management with his alma mater The George Washington University. Bobby retired in 2021 as the Vice Chancellor for the University System of Georgia, overseeing technology strategy for 26 public colleges and universities and supporting initiatives that improved student success, enrollment, and institutional effectiveness. In 2014 Bobby retired from the Senior Executive Service after over 30 years with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where he led major technology, research, and workforce development programs.

Bobby holds bachelor’s degrees in Geology and Computer Science from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Doctor of Science in Engineering Management from The George Washington University. He has also completed executive leadership programs at Harvard University, the Korn Ferry Institute, and the Center for Creative Leadership. Dr. Laurine has been awarded the National Intelligence Award for Collaboration Leadership, the National Intelligence Distinguished and Superior Service Medals, the Federal Executive Board’s Leader of the Year Award, and the Presidential Distinguished and Meritorious Executive Awards recognizing sustained excellence and service to the nation.

Giving Back to the Next Generation

A strong believer in serving and developing future leaders, Bobby actively gives back to the community through education and youth mentorship. He has taught AP Calculus at John Carroll High School, serves as a substitute teacher in mathematics and science at John Carroll High School and St. Joseph Catholic School, and has coached youth flag football and cross-country programs. Through these activities, he helps students develop not only academic skills but also confidence, discipline, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.

Mrs. Kelly Laurine (Kelly)

Ms. Kelly Laurine is an educator, mentor, and executive coach with more than 25 years of experience helping students and professionals achieve their academic, personal, and career goals. She specializes in English, history, writing, social sciences, college admissions preparation, scholarship and financial planning, internship guidance, academic success strategies, and career development at all levels.

Kelly works closely with students throughout their educational journey—from preparing competitive college applications and selecting the right academic path to navigating college successfully and planning for meaningful careers. Her practical approach combines strong communication skills, real-world experience, and personalized mentorship to help students build confidence and reach their full potential.

Kelly currently serves as CEO of R.K. Executive Consulting. Previously Kelly served in senior leadership and communications roles across the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, including assignments with the Central Intelligence Agency, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, U.S. Transportation Command, The White House, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs.

Giving Back to the Community

Kelly is deeply committed to serving others through education, mentorship, and community leadership. She has served on numerous nonprofit, educational, and civic boards, including St. Joseph Catholic School, Holy Trinity Catholic School, Georgia Southern University, Catch the Wave of Hope, Turn Up the Heat Dance Foundation and several organizations supporting youth, veterans, and underserved communities. As another way to give back, she currently serves as a substitute teacher at the St. Joseph Catholic School. She is passionate about helping young people develop the skills, confidence, and leadership abilities needed to succeed in college, careers, and life.

Kelly graduated cum laude from Notre Dame of Maryland University and holds certifications in conflict resolution, negotiation, change management, and mediation from Michigan State University and St. Louis University.
